Why Team Quest?

Stay Healthy!
As a Doctor of Physical Therapy with over 25 years of experience in orthopedics and sports medicine, Coach Jeanne got frustrated with injured endurance athletes, calling in a panic before a key race and needing to be treated for injuries that were often preventable with smart training progressions and strength and mobility work. If you’re sick, in pain or injured, you can’t train or race to your full potential! One of Team Quest’s primary objectives is keeping you healthy throughout your training! Having a coach who is also a physical therapist makes this much easier!

Who Is Team Quest?
Team Quest is made up of various men and women from around the US, with our home base located in Knoxville, TN. We have endurance athletes competing in running, ultrarunning, triathlon, duathlon, SwimRun, cycling, and aquabike events. We are age group athletes who are balancing training, racing, life, work, and family.
Athletes span all experience levels, paces, and distances from 1st 5k to seasoned ultramarathoners, Boston Qualifiers to back of the packers, pool sprint triathlons to Ironman events and everything in between! You don’t have to be at a certain pace, experience or distance to be on the team and benefit from coaching and a supportive group of athletes.
- We have athletes who are looking to improve their fitness and/or speed after health issues (heart attacks, stroke, cancer, diabetes, COVID, orthopedic injuries and surgeries), have fun, and be safe with their training.
- Some folks want out of a recurrent injury cycle.
- Some folks sign up for coaching for accountability and motivation with their training.
- Some need and want the structure of planned workouts towards a goal and not worrying if they chose the right online training plan.
- Some like not having to figure out what workout they’re going to do on a given day.
- Some like not having to figure out adjustments to the plan if it isn’t getting the desired results.
- Some like the flexibility of someone being able to change their training plan when life happens or goals change.
- Some like not worrying about if they’re working too hard or too easy. They know their zones are dialed in for them individually and their workouts are based on that.
- Some like having the knowledge base of a professional to get guidance, answer questions, and help them know things they didn’t even know they needed to know.
- Some are looking to tackle big race goals and don’t want to waste their time in training and risk not finishing.
